Contest Descriptions

Casual Trivia
Saturday 8/1	1:00 p.m. - 1:25 p.m.

• Format
  • Solo competition
  • Kahoot! platform
  • 4 rounds of 10 questions, multiple choice
  • Highest score wins
• Rules
  • Join us for a few rounds of casual Transformers trivia for all fans. Low stakes, just for fun.
  • The contest this year will be conducted on the Kahoot! platform.
    • Kahoot! is web-based trivia with a 2-screen format: one screen to display the questions and answers, one screen per participant to send answers
    • Participants will want to be able to see both screens simultaneously
    • The contest can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot! app for mobile devices
    • If you are planning to use the mobile app, we recommend installing it before the start of the contest
  • There will be 4 rounds of 10 questions each
    • Each round is limited to 20 participants
    • All rounds are separate contests. Feel free to join for all or some (depending on the number of participants).

'86 Movie Trivia

  • Join us for an intense round of trivia focused entirely on the 1986 film, The Transformers: The Movie
  • The contest will be conducted on the Kahoot! platform.
    • Kahoot! is web-based trivia with a 2-screen format: one screen to display the questions and answers, one screen per participant to send answers
    • Participants will want to be able to see both screens simultaneously
    • The contest can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot! app for mobile devices
    • If you are planning to use the mobile app, we recommend installing it before the start of the contest
  • There will be 1 round of 40 questions, limited to 20 participants

Transforming
Sunday 8/2	2:00 p.m. - 2:55 p.m.

• Join us for some low-stakes, Transforming fun
• We will want all participants to be on the stream with us, so anyone wishing to participate should e-mail registration@cybfestnw.com to reserve a spot (first come, first served)
• In keeping with the spirit of our traditional transforming contest, the exact details will be revealed at the event on Sunday
• Participants should join the stream from a location where they have ready access to the figures in their collection
